This form is not a guarantee of admittance. It is only a notification of interest. Roster openings typically occur at the beginning of each season.
Enter a Team in GSMHL
Use this form if you want to enter a team for the upcoming season. This will email the League / Site Admin with the details you provide. The new team Captain must present all of the information below in person at the January or February captains meeting at the Lindenwold Moose Lodge for a review of team info and vote by captains for admittance to the league. (Refer to the captains meeting schedule on the main Garden state page)
Key Rulebook Notes (Franchise & Roster)
- Franchise fee: $130 annual (non‑refundable). Entering deadline closes at the regular February meeting.
- New team deposit: one‑time $75 deposit for horseshoes (3 sets), refundable when the team disbands and shoes are returned.
- Home field: teams must declare their home field site by the January meeting.
- Roster size: max of 16 players on a roster; captain assigns player numbers and submits to the league.
- Roster changes: rosters can be revised up to the May meeting (final roster change). No roster changes after start of a match (no exceptions).
- Eligibility: no player can be on more than one roster at a time; once a player throws in an official GSMHL match, they are not eligible to play for another team until the following season.
